" Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Nandan ! "

Some of you may remember this serial started in May 2000.
Soon, I started getting a lot of feedback. Many asked for
purchase-advise or troubleshooting-help, which I have always
been prompt to provide. Some wanted to share with me their
lovely experiences with Bullets, or their not so lovely
ones with high-handed dealers, sharp mechanics, etc.
But a few clearly felt I should do more than complain.
No doubt they were polite, but I could read the unwritten
"Put your money where your mouth is" quite clearly !

Well, that seemed fair enough: Giving advice on the web
is easy, making it work on the roads MAY not be !!!
Bullet-eers were never the type to back away from
challenges, so I had to take up that one !

So I got thru to some officials in REM and offered to
work with them to iron the bugs out of our beloved Bullets.
But those were probably small-fry guys & pettily thought
I was looking for employment/ payment, etc ....because
I never heard from them again !
'Looking at gift-horses in the teeth' I have heard of,
but seeing a threat or white-elephant in one,
......REM se seekho !!!

BTW, the good news is that the Workshop Manual is
now more easily available than when I cribbed about
it's non-availability. But, oh, the bad news is that the
said manual is STILL as lousy as ever ! :-)

Meanwhile, some people still think I'm
" Cursing darkness instead of lighting a lamp "
....a kind way of saying: "Put your money....."

OK, OK ! So hear, ye !!

I'm taking up the challenge; I've left an unrelated job,
& I'm now going full-time Bullet-eering, a pro !!!

All the earlier freebies remain, of course. In fact,
because I will be working on Bullets & nothing else,
this serial will proceed more steadily !
